400 inches? Those are some screwed up rain gauges.
Some places average close to 70/year. That would be pushing 350 over 5, and be normal. It’s not really a stretch considering the rain events that keep happening. I just googled it and I’ll tell you what, I never knew that rain gauges had a multiplying factor. I’ve never used one cause I’ve never had the need. I always figured they were 1/1. What are you talking about Willis?
