Irish,
Our revolution or War for Independence was a success for two reasons.
1. I personally believe that providence "God" was with our forefathers.
2. The leaders and men of the revolution, were themselves typically Christian. The non Christians believed in Christian morals whether they professed to follow God or not. Because of their belief in Christian morals they believed in those higher ideals of freedom, responsibility, self governance, etc.

The failed revolutions of history typically fail or have horrific outcomes (dictators or communism) because of the selfish nature and immoral vision of the revolutionaries themselves.

We have fewer and fewer people in our country who believe in morals, that absolute right and wrong exist, let alone Christianity itself.

the early settlers the pilgrims were true bible believing christians.the founding fathers the freemasons were satanist. the god they served was lucifer. in pilgrim america it was against the law to celebrate christmas christ mass they wanted nothing to do with the pagan catholic "church:. you can trace the freemason root all the way to the gnostics of the time of the apostles. the gnostics believed that the God of the bible was a demiurge and that satan set man free from His bondage. there were bible believing christians during that time sure but men like franklin washington jefferson and adams were in fact satanist.
