When my wife said she wanted to go to this movie - I cringed. I was judging it just off the name and thought it might even b a cartoon when I heard the name. We and kids ended up going - way - way bettr than I thought it would be. Has some language but not a ton. One of the bettr movies I seen in long time. Maverick movie was bettr but this was really good. I thought it would b a movie I never mention I went to. When the theater was almost full - I thought - maybe this will not b that bad.
I was surprised - very solid movie

The book was really popular. I thought it sounded too girly for me to read but i'm told it really appeals to everyone. I've heard the movie does a great job with the book. Will go see it someday.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

We made a trip to Missouri and my wife picked it to listen to on Audio. I was hesitant but, ended up enjoying the book audio. She went and saw the movie with my daughter, I declined but wouldn't mind seeing the movie.

Whoe Nelly this just went from a little language to too many intercourse scenes. And if those scenes had to be explained to a teenager, then I got to question if it’s more than “just a little language”
I guess them crawdads were singin pretty loud. That would be one awkward ride home for the family.

I guess them crawdads were singin pretty loud. That would be one awkward ride home for the family. I bet there might be one out of a 1,000 teenagers that would need some explaining .

^^^^^ I saw a lot hotter sex senes when I was a kid in the 80s - but I prob would hav not taken my 15 year old to it if I had known it had sex scenes but I am protective - my wife picked this one and I jokingly kidded her about it and did some explaining to the 15 year old - but there was no nudity and not many cuss words I was glad it was not a chick flick like I thought
