I’m an attorney and I handle several divorces every year.
The parties have been married for 3 years. This is a short-lived marriage. The division of assets will be pretty simple, generally speaking.
Children? If so custody and visitation will be a primary concern.
Adultery, Judges generally really don’t care, especially in a marriage of only 3 years.

I think it helps to have circumstances that are in your favor though. For instance, this was my second marriage. The house was my house. She left. There was no discussion about it, we came back from visiting with my family and she and her stuff was gone. I hired Jessie, we filed a pendente lite motion and won, and it was on from there. I refused to consider week on week off custody. I said that was the dumbest thing I had ever heard, and that the kids need a home base. My job is flexible enough for me to manage, even more so now with covid, I can work from home. I was in a small group with 2 other guys that had the same scenario as me, and they had daughters and got custody.
