When my wife said she wanted to go to this movie - I cringed. I was judging it just off the name and thought it might even b a cartoon when I heard the name. We and kids ended up going - way - way bettr than I thought it would be. Has some language but not a ton. One of the bettr movies I seen in long time. Maverick movie was bettr but this was really good. I thought it would b a movie I never mention I went to. When the theater was almost full - I thought - maybe this will not b that bad.

I was surprised - very solid movie

The book was really popular. I thought it sounded too girly for me to read but i'm told it really appeals to everyone. I've heard the movie does a great job with the book. Will go see it someday.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It was worth seeing with the wife. No nudity, but too much sexual situations for kids.

My wife has read the book and seen the movie. Good reviews of both. Check out this interesting article about the author.

We made a trip to Missouri and my wife picked it to listen to on Audio. I was hesitant but, ended up enjoying the book audio. She went and saw the movie with my daughter, I declined but wouldn't mind seeing the movie.

Just got back from the theater, good movie . Well worth the price of admission.

Whoe Nelly this just went from a little language to too many intercourse scenes. And if those scenes had to be explained to a teenager, then I got to question if it’s more than “just a little language”

I guess them crawdads were singin pretty loud. That would be one awkward ride home for the family.

I bet there might be one out of a 1,000 teenagers that would need some explaining .

I saw a lot hotter sex senes when I was a kid in the 80s - but I prob would hav not taken my 15 year old to it if I had known it had sex scenes but I am protective - my wife picked this one and I jokingly kidded her about it and did some explaining to the 15 year old - but there was no nudity and not many cuss words
I was glad it was not a chick flick like I thought
