Lily Mae and Mrs Hammer are both doing well! She's a quiet baby, she's only chirped one or two times since being born a few hours ago.
Mrs. Hammer got settled in around 5:30am, epidural at 11, started pushing at 12:45, and had a baby before 1:00pm. Incredibly smooth all the way around. What an incredible blessing.
With #1, Mrs. Hammer's victory meal was a supreme pizza from Rotolo's (across the street from Thomas Hospital in Fairhope). With #2 Mrs Hammer's doctor moved over to Infirmary in Mobile, so it was Dreamland off I-65 service road this time.
They are allowing visitors now which is different vs when we had #1 (Covid restrictions). MIL just left and my parents are on the way over now.
I'm thinking Mrs. Hammer needs one of those Trijicon scopes as a present, maybe on top of a weatherby Mark V deluxe or something....idunno

A SCOPE....  ....  Dont do that man....Oh and Congrats Pal well done...

I think of about one reason per week to buy "her" that sort of rig....none of my ideas have stuck so far...hahaha I was actually thinking about a mother's ring with some birthstones, but I don't really know if those are still in style? And, not sure we're done with kids, so that's out for now. Been a while since she's got some nice jewelry...so I'm kicking ideas around.
