I was in the Calera Walmart yesterday. Not a super liberal place though getting more that way. They had stacks of CCI standard and mini mag. I need both. I couldn't get anyone to sell it to me. I asked 2 different employees to get someone to help me. I saw them several times and kept asking. I waiting 45 minutes. They both said it was one woman with the key. She just wouldn't ever come. Another customer said he had the same experience and knew others that had too. Basically they have some liberal employees (confirmed through the look of the employees I talked to) and they just don't want to sell ammo. So they tell you someone is coming but they just never show up. That's why they have stacks of ammo.

That’s when you walk up to customer service and ask for the manager.

And tell everyone to go pound sand

They were telling you correctly about one employee, other than managers, having a key to guns and ammo, and other things in other departments due to high volumes of inside theft You didn’t get waited on because they are Liberal, you didn’t get waited on because they are lazy.

Same thing happened to me at Walmart on Drake Avenue. Wasted my time.

You won't have that problem at Scottsboro Walmart.

This was my experience as well on more than one occasion. They definitely need a better system

I call the store when I waited at clanton wal mart one time . Lady said some one be there In a few when they didn't come I called again and again . Waited over a hour

Same thing happened to me at this one once. There is a real nice white guy when he is there that will take care of customers. He works the tire and lube. Most stores have no working sporting goods anymore. Either the paint department or tire and lube are over it. Once the guy that had the key was gone to lunch and taken the key with him. And on a side note I don’t like their policy of having to show an ID to purchase ammo.

On a side note to the Drake store I will say this. When this store was put into my father in law’s district it had more shrinkage than his other 11 stores combined. And when he retired it was very low. I’d would say it has returned to its Democrat ways.

Why didnt you do this? Then call corporate. Then email a complaint. Then go to the service desk next time you need ammo and ask the manager directly to open the ammo box. Be a thorn in their side.

I believe you are in the right approach. Put it back to where it’s self service. And my eyes aren’t good enough anymore to read what size it is when it’s behind the counter. And as for the driver’s license when you get out of Democrat zones I will say most just ask for birth date

I'd either find a manager or return with a 16 lb sledge safety glasses chainsaw running(just for effect) and some want to. I kid about the sledgehammer part.

Just sounds like awful customer service, which is how every Walmart is.

I usually have success by going to the electronics section and asking around. Quite often the employee with the key is there. If not, I give up on buying ammo

it's not just ammo or that Walmart. The wife and I waited about 15 minutes for someone to come get a coffeemaker off of the top shelf at the Boaz Walmart. I finally walked over an isle or two and got one of their platform ladders to get it myself. As I was about to step onto it not one but two employees showed up to tell me I couldn't do that. I said then one of them better get up there and get me a coffeemaker or go ahead and call the manager. Ten seconds later I had a coffeemaker in my hands.
