$250 in material if you do it yourself. $1,000 to $1400 for someone that knows what they are doing, $600 for the "yeah I can do it" guy down the road.

Most aluminum boats are worse than full size bass boats. Everything is riveted.

klay, would you happen to have a contact that could replace the transom in my 2004 Lund?

I don't, unless the fiberglass shops would do it. I'm sorry.

As much as you fish for those slimy fish below the dam, you will wish you had chewed your arm off if you put carpet in your boat! Go with spray in bedliner.

If I had to replace carpet I believe I’d go with something like seadek or hydroturf or the like

Ive thought about that but have reservations. Im looking at boats on FB marketplace. Just trying to figure out what some things will cost to improve a boat i might buy. Dont want to write off a good deal just because the carpet looks like crap

Are you looking for a boat? I have a perfect boat for you, but it isn't a cheap one. It's a 19' G3 with a vinyl floor and all the goodies you can put on one.

I redone the carpet in my new to me bass tracker last summer and it turned out pretty good. Carpet and adhesives was about $250-275. I had to buy some other things as well, clamps, stainless screws, stainless riverts, etc but probably didn't spend over $100 total on all on that stuff. But....I will pay good money to someone to do it if it ever needs it again. That was the biggest pain in the a$$ job I have ever done in my life. Lots of gule sracoing, drilling rivets, etc. I had the inside of my boat spread out over the entire back yard...lol.
