I fished the Southern Kingfish Association for years. (I actually helped start it). We have fished from North Carolina all the way around the tip of Florida and to Louisiana. Nothing like fishing for big kings on the rigs about 45 miles out of Biloxi and in the West Delta of Louisiana. Giant hard tails, small Bonita,and ribbon fish for bait! You knew Mark and Mike Kennedy out of Mobile then, Kwazar and WendySea. I knew them well. We fished and traveled together on occasions. My buddy still fishes with them now. I fish with them all the time, since they are my in laws. Your buddy Steve or Max? Max and Steve are both close buddies of mine. We fished for Team Fountain together in the 90’s. Max is a lifelong fishing and hunting buddy of mine and best friend. Hard to believe he still goes at it so hard at his age. I assume you know Brett Rutledge as well?
