Just FYI, pelletized lime works quickly if put out and disced/tilled in. Several members can attest to this. I've always limed, seeded and fertilized at the same time for fall plots and it's worked out great. We actually did an experiment once, where we purposely did not lime a plot that was always loaded with deer. We then limed a plot that was 500 yards away which we hadn't seen many deer. The deer activity flipped to the limed plot that year. So I'm a true believer that the deer traveled farther for sweeter tasting forage.
