You never know. A good friend of mine was bitten by a baby copperhead a few years ago, had a bad reaction, and was unconscious within five minutes. He didn't make it. If you get bitten, don't fool around, get to the hospital. I don't know if its true, but I've always heard/ read that a bite from a baby snake is worse than an adult. IIRC the reasoning was that the baby snakes haven't developed good control over the venom ducts and will pump everything its got into you, whereas a mature snake will usually only give you a smaller, metered dose.
