Costa is got a sell on some of the glasses right now, and thought I might order the wife a pair. Wasn't there a member or two on here that ordered from them a while back and got scammed? What was the outcome of that, and has anyone ordered from them recently?

Do not buy any Costa's unless you can put your hands on them. I bought a pair from a guy that had 5000+ sales on Ebay (I know, here it comes) with all + reviews. They were to be 580G and are not.

I have owned many pairs of Costas over the years and had warranty claims with them. BUT, since Luxotica bought them, they have went to hell.

Go with something besides Costa. Warranty was no good for me. Ear pieces deteriorated and they did not cover or replace them.

I posted a couple weeks back about mine coming apart and I was looking for a new pair. I ended up sending them back again, cost me 5.00 to ship. Costa responded in 2-3 days and said they were covered. 5 days later got a brand new pair in the mail. I still don't think the glass is what it was before the company sold but in this day and time I was ok with spending 5.00 to get a free pair over spending more than that to get another brand. We will see how long they last.

Here is a legit site with a Costa sale. Costa is having to discount to sell these days. Their glasses are cheaply made garbage since they sold out in my opinion.

Does anybody else have a problem with costas stretching. Mine become so loose that they are constantly sliding down my nose. Can’t even hardly wear them if I’m sweating.

I just expect for the money the glasses would last. I’ve bought 5$ glasses that don’t stretch like costas. I don’t think 7 3/8 in a fitted hat is that big.

It ain’t, but some costas are made for real small heads. It’s like buying a small t shirt when you’re used to wearing a large and expecting it to fit right. Buy a size that doesn’t have to bend out to go on your face and you won’t have an issue with them stretching.

I noticed if use cables, they stretch. I think it's because I pull them out a little to go over the ears. I had this problem with costa and maui jim. My last pair, I never put cables on and I wore them three years with no issue. Before that, I got a new pair every year due to stretching.

I've switched over to Maui Jim but still have a couple of pairs of Costa's around if I need them.

Watch www.woot.com
They have deals on CDM, Oakley, RayBan, and Maui Jim (I think I've seen MJ on there) on a regular basis.
