maybe Durant will address the "we need to disarm the population" comment I heard on the tv. It may of been taken out of context but the clip had it in his own words. Thats a deal killer for me. The fact he is dumb enough to say something like that is proof positive he doesn't need to be a senator for me. They are guarded by people with guns. We, the average citizens, are not. So gun control really has no impact on them. I watched the whole video. They conveniently left off the part after he said that about it being impossible/not an option. Please guys, lets be smarter than a campaign commercial.

Seriously I do my own research on all candidates and I know if a lie is being told in a commercial I'm trying to get you guys to see that knowing your candidate is best for our state and country instead of just voting for a R & D or just a name you know BTW I havent made up my mind on anyone yet

But it’s my opinion anyone that volunteered to serve this country, then go into a situation and put your life on the line when called to do so. Go through that hell, deserves a shot at a position that makes policy decisions. The vast majority of politicians won “popularity” contest in getting elected. Never earned the “right”, just had slick advertisements. If anybody ever “deserved” the right to a position of power (that involves decisions that effects the direction of this country) it’s somebody that put their life on the line as a result of those very decisions. So yes, it is my opinion, he deserves my vote.
