Is the leather bootlace for real or is that like taking someone snipe hunting?

Are you serious on the leather bootlace. I’ve never heard of that. Would be different if it works or is that like taking someone snipe hunting?

That’s what we use on our pond. feeders go off twice a day, catching a mess only takes a few minutes, their ready.

We caught about 50 in an hour and a half this evening. Most were small but I did clean 20 big bluegill and shell cracker. Caught them in roseberry with crickets in 6’ of water.

A small piece of a wine cork epoxied to a hook works wonders when they are eating floating fish food.

We noticed a fish hitting at a cigarette butt my dad threw in the water so of course we put one on a hook and caught him.
I also saw a guy catch one by tying a hook to a pull tab off a beer can.
