So yeah... I agree. Fighter Jets will still be needed, but are evolving at a really fast rate right now. I think with this latest round of advanced fighters, we may have seen the last totally new manned fighters, and from now on we will begin developing autonomous and/or semi-autonomous unmanned fighters.
