Why does he need another year?

Sat and saw 2 does and a single horned buck. He was all over one of the does. He was chasing the snot out of her. That’s the first true rut sign I have seen.

He needs another year cause I am doing my best to shoot 4.5 yr up and he was not there body wise. I would love to run into him next year though. I am on my second year of trying for 4.5 yr olds and it really limits the shooting opportunities, at least in my neck of the woods.
