Fur, if you will drop by the local Co-Op they will probably give you some of the 30 gallon plastic drums they have sprayed fields with. I usually get about 15-20 a year for friends and you could cut these in half and use them for a trough. It would be cheap and when you get rain again, they would make great feed troughs for the cows, etc. Hope that helps. They would also be very easy to handle as they only weigh about 10 lbs. or less.
