Cue the in Alabama your employer can fire you for anything and you can't do anything about it crowd. Not legally, but they can find or create another reason. They could put the fat person on a “layoff “ list and not have to give a reason as to why the fat guy was picked. That’s completely legal. When I worked for Texas Instruments, usually once a year we would go through a RIF (Reduction In Force). Which means TI would say they had too many workers and had to lay off employees. But the layoffs would target the ones management did not want to keep around.
