As much as i hate to say it, whether you're a UGA, Bama, or Auburn fan. with this NIL/TP, this will be the new norm. as much money that UGA, Bama, and Auburn have, they don't have as much money as those Texas teams or a lot of the other teams in the nation. This could be bad thing for CFB.

This could be bad thing for CFB. You noticed all the guys transferring to Arkansas. They must be getting money from the waltons. They’ve pulled 4 players from LSU and a few starters from other schools. I don’t like the NIL but it needed to happen. Without something to pull recruits the same 5 teams would realistically have a shot at making the playoff every year for decades. There is no draft in college to spread talent so this was the only way to do it. Expanding the playoff is nothing but a revenue share for the other schools, because the same 5 to 6 teams will be in the final four teams for at least 6 more seasons. TV ratings would be non existent and so would game attendance. It was getting close to everyone losing interest , other than fans of the 5 or 6 top teams. Without a spread of talent there’s no way for it to be a remotely competitive sport.

This could be bad thing for CFB. Alabama legislature passed a bill last week that will help even the playing field. The bill rescinds some laws and basically makes it legal to do the things that Texas and TAMU, among others, are doing with NIL.

This will help, but still the state of Alabama doesn't have the money that these other schools have...
