That brings me more joy and happiness than any football game.

As far as Saban being happy and "ok" about a loss. Y'all are freaking nuts if you think that. This burns him to his core. I just look at it like Coach Bryant did when Stallings beat him in the 1968 Cotton Bowl. There is an iconic picture of Bryant hoisting Stallings up after losing to him. Bryant hated losing but was happy for his former player and assistant. Saban hates to lose to anyone. But in deep in his heart, he loves Smart like a son. Much like Bryant thought of Stallings. As much as he absolutely hates to lose and he's not "ok" with Kirby beating him but I believe Saban is proud for his protege' despite it coming by way of a victory over his Alabama team.

Bama will be back in the SEC and NCG several more times over the next 5 years. He's got at least one more national championship in him.

Agree. I wasn't trying to say Saban was OK with losing. I think he'd be MORE upset if he actually had the better team and better match-ups and still lost.

One more national championship in him --- Next year Alabama should be loaded with all they have coming back, they need another speedy wide receiver though. What happened to all those linemen Alabama signed last year, didn't only (1) play this year? We signed like 2-3 5 star offensive linemen last year.

Very few have played as True freshmen O-lineman for Alabama no matter what there 5* recruitment status was. A few have but rare, Cam Robinson, Johna Williams and maybe a couple of others have since Saban has been Coach.

Several players announced in the last 2 days they are returning for their senior year. They were going to be in the playoff with or without them , but the chance for anyone to upset them during the regular season is getting slim.

Defense will be STACKED with talent and experience barring any injuries. I was surprised a t a couple of them that are returning

One of Alabama’s starting linebackers just announced he is transferring to Arkansas. Wooten from auburn is leaving and another d lineman is supposed to announce he’s leaving auburn tomorrow.

I think that’ll put Alabama at 12 players quitting, and auburn will be at 16.

Auburn has had 2 declare to transfer in and Alabama is supposed to be at 9 transfers in by the end of this week.

Auburn is going to have a rough season next year. It could be nasty. Auburn has 14 spots to fill with transfers and that isn’t realistic.

Drew Sanders? He only started 3 games this year (after Christopher Allen was injured). Played in 12 games and only had 24 tackles. He was hardly a starter
