When your life sucks and you really have nothing you become a barn fan. No, your life sucks when football is the only reason you like a school. Or when your uncle liked them for football so you do to. I promise you, 90% of AU fans has something to do with the university itself. They graduated, or someone in there family did. AU is a huge reason farming and wildlife has flourished in Alabama, and they also do a lot for school age kids across the state. They put on a lot of seminars for free, and include a meal. They have one of the best Vet schools in the south. A lot of these guys aren’t just rooting for them because of football, it’s because AU made them the career and life they have today. There’s arrogant fans in all teams, but AU fans love AU.

Well that’s my opinion on the deal anyway. I’ll agree to disagree, as for me, if AU never won another game I’ll be fine, but I’m sure glad it allows me to play farmer, and gave my wife her education to make me money so I can hunt and fish our land daily if I want to. And the vet school has saved me a lot of money over the years. So y’all carry on over your football. Lol

Phil , can you give us a breakdown on how the stadium was in comparison to Atlanta or Jerry world.
I’ve been to Indianapolis twice on business , but never got close enough to see much of that stadium. It was nice but Jerry World and Atlanta are way better
