You sure it’s not a 264 win mag? 264 Winchester magnum was introduced in 1957 or 1958. If it's really a 1952 M70 it predates that cartridge by a few years. Since the op couldn’t remember the chambering, I didn’t really put much stock in the gun being a 1952 model and 264 win mag just seemed to fit better. It's more likely a 92 M70 than a 52 😁
