This bothers me as well. I know a couple guys who have "named" their farms, aka the 40 or 80 acres they recently bought. Some of them go out an buy a tractor package and will then talk about all the tax write offs. I have yet to find a lot of money in my pocket based on buying a tractor regardless of how my accountant spins it.
Lol that one gets me too...It aint a farm unless your raising something "meat/produce" imo just call it the new land or the so n so property
