My SIL is a nurse practitioner. A month ago she said it was going away. As of this weekend she said it's back as bad as ever.

It is like a lot of folks were saying at the beginning: “sooner or later, we all will get it”.

It's different than any cold or flu I've ever had. I never ever get sick and this has kicked my ass. It's been over a week and I still feel like shucks

I don't know anyone with covid currently besides a bunch of my fantasy football players. They're all asymptomatic. This new covid strain seems to be very contagious but very light as far as symptoms go. Very few deaths being reported.

Everybody in my house had it a week ago. We were over it and tested negative in less than a week. It affects people differently but I’ll never believe the numbers that have been posted about this virus.

I don't know if it's Omicron or not but there's a 28 year old local young lady that's touch and go with a very bleak prognosis. Her heart stopped at 3 am this morning and she was revived. I go to church with her parents. She has no known comorbidities. A 53 year old man that I've known for 20 years died around 3 months ago, again with no known comorbidities. I haven't changed one aspect of my life because of Covid but this isn't the same as the flu or a cold for some people and the real problem is you don't know if you're one of those people or not.
