Congratulations! Was kinda in the same boat first week of this month. They tried to give me 13 days off unpaid for a safety violation that I was admit about that I didn't do and actually they couldn't show me where I did it. Long story short I told them here's my notice and they let me go on the spot. Well Christmas ain't what it usually is but God took care of us and I started a better job this past Monday!

Way to go! Life's too short to put up with assholes.

Our Christmas is a bit leaner than it would normally be but we were prepared and won't miss a beat when the next paycheck comes.

I was really worried for a while that there wouldn't be any jobs in my field but it appears the job market is on fire in just about every field. Seems like everybody is hurting for employees at every level.

Congrats to those who’ve found new work. Life is definitely too short to stay in a funk over your job. If you have to keep your head on a swivel at work due to internal conflict you should be looking for a new job now.

This is my 2nd go round in 20 years with Wall Street private equity. I had another run for a few years working for a conglomerate that was a complete disaster too.

I pray every chance I get that anyone else working for sleezballs like I’ve had to do , has the Lords hand on them. I know I’ll be poorer financially when this is over , but nobody should have to go through this stuff just to keep a job. You never realize how evil and empty humanity is until you deal with a bad job. We focus on societal issues, but money is the root of ALL evil in this world.

I get sick at my stomach thinking about how we all invest in the market, knowing the kind of people we are making wealthy, and knowing what they are doing with that money.

Money and Power are interchangeable and both corrupt like nothing else. I can honestly say I’ve never sacrificed my personal values for anything at work and it has cost me promotions but my pride is still intact.
