An older browning a bolt medallion is a fine rifle. Abolt stainless stalker is another good one.

I’ve only had 2 Browning bolts, an A Bolt II synthetic stalker in .270 it was a shooter.
Now a Browning X Bolt .308. It shoots 3 shots at 100 yards that you can cover with a dime.

I love my Abolt Medallion , but not the semi obsolete 325wsm ammo it's chambered for. If I had it to do over again I would've gotten 300 or 7 mag

Look into having it rebarreled to 6.5PRC

A stainless stalker or a micro in stainless would be my choice in .308

Oh , I thought this was a poll, didn't know you were shopping . Doubt you'll find a nice FN High Power for sale , you may not wanta give up a kidney anyway.

If I wanted a using gun, I'd look for a A-Bolt II stainless stalker in a short action caliber I like.

I saw a used Browning A bolt in 270 at Buddy’s Sporting Goods at Hollis Crossroads today for 525. They had a Bergara B14 Ridge SP in 308 18” barrel also. Sweet little gun.

I didn't know you could do that. I love the 325wsm caliber, but damn I'm having a hard time finding more ammo under 100 dollars a box

I’ve seen way too many original Abolts in 270’s that were shooters. I would not hesitate to pick a lightly used one over a current production rifle.

For what it’s worth…..think about the rifle weight and being able to shoot it. Bolt throw on different bolts can come close to the scope and if you have a new scope that’s got one of these knobs on the adjustment you may find that you can’t throw the bolt without hitting your hand on the scope or the knob.
