Just guessing but I’d say anything elevated above the ground would be considered suspended This is thing and again I’m not trying to be a jackass……..but if something like this went to court and the rule says “suspend” then Webster’s dictionary defines suspend as “to hang” or “to keep from falling or sinking by some invisible force” such as buoyancy or a solution in a suspension…..There is nothing about it being “elevated”……Elevate means to raise or lift something to a higher position……Does this mean that your bait always has to be in a lower position than your traps?? If I bury my traps and then sprinkle bait on top of the ground is the bait not in an “elevated” position in relation to the traps? You’re not thinking Game Warden thoughts but you’re trying to rationalize why there shouldn’t be a problem with elevated/suspended bait above your traps The argument isn’t with me it’s with the trapping laws and how they’re interpreted by a Game Warden Personally I don’t care one way or the other how you catch them and I’m glad to see more guys are getting into trapping Keep up the good work and don’t get in trouble
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be
