Anyone who has actually used an Abolt in a short action caliber and said “I don’t like it” is insane.
There’s many great rifles out there, but for the money I don’t know how you could beat one. Abolt II in short action is my vote.
Good used Leupold vari x III 4.5-14x50 on top. Deer killer for years. For years I toted a stainless Abolt II 7-08 with the same scope I now have on the Finnlight . Fine rifle and I do like it , but I like the Finnlight much better.
