shall not apply to guests.....it doesn't say a damn thing about the landowner being with you. I'm sure ya'll know way more than I do about the law......LOL Thing is Troy it ain't you well see in the woods my friend. Just saying I'm a guest ain't gonna cut it with some I'm afraid . No doubt you right about the law , I knew the law . I just gave my advice

What this shows is Alabama has some odd (and terribly defined) hunting regs. written by idiots for the most part. get a permit fro whoever is in charge of the land and be done with it.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

technically you don't need a written permit at all if you are hunting as a guest of the landowner. Before any of ya'll howl, read the damn law all the way thru.....

Thank you for all of the replys. It looks like I have some work ahead of me to get all these signatures. People speed all of the country. Ain't that big a thang. Just send them a the permit and a stamped self addressed envelope. How I used to do it. At one time I was having to get permit from people in Oklahoma and Illinois
