I don't remember it being this wet at this time of year either, without some tropical event coming in. I'd guess there's still 90% of the corn crop in this county still in the field. I sure don't ever remember that before.
Our bermuda pastures are still as green as they were in June too. That's a first un.
Looks like some dry wather ahead for next week. I have some good friends who are the biggest farmers in our area, one of them told me bout two weeks ago they hoped it didn't rain again till Thanksgiving . They are waaaaaaay behind, having trouble getting in low ground, short 3 truck drivers, having to dry everything they pick, cotton is acting goofy , a new combine broke 3 times and sitting in the field waiting on the factory man...................
