I’ll say this too. Family time around the house with kids on fall break has been cool. We’re riding up to the farm and watch deer feeding at dark per the kids request. My boy and I serviced his big bear 350 4 wheeler and put a new chain on his 230 dirt bike this pm. We gotta keep our minds off the bad

I'm on salary now. I like rain...👍👍 Nice who you with now? Rogers group? Yeah buddy, I'm still there. But I'm with you, I'm tired of the rain. Got my employer losing money, farmers messed up and has the Tenn River too rough for my liking to fish! I hope it quits so you can get your crops out brother.

I don't remember it being this wet at this time of year either, without some tropical event coming in. I'd guess there's still 90% of the corn crop in this county still in the field. I sure don't ever remember that before.
Our bermuda pastures are still as green as they were in June too. That's a first un.
Looks like some dry wather ahead for next week. I have some good friends who are the biggest farmers in our area, one of them told me bout two weeks ago they hoped it didn't rain again till Thanksgiving . They are waaaaaaay behind, having trouble getting in low ground, short 3 truck drivers, having to dry everything they pick, cotton is acting goofy , a new combine broke 3 times and sitting in the field waiting on the factory man...................

Dad was talking about how strange the weather has been this year. Got a friend that was flooded early and late getting crops in the ground. Said he’ll be lucky to get through with cotton by Thanksgiving. One of the latest seasons in a long time. I only remember it a few times in my life 51 years.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

That’s what she said when I lit a couple candles and told her the McRib sandwiches were on the dining room table. Wait...The mcRib is back... Best piece of processed meat money can buy...

I saw last week, before all this latest rainfall, where James Span said we were over 11” ahead for the year on rainfall.
