I’ll say this too. Family time around the house with kids on fall break has been cool. We’re riding up to the farm and watch deer feeding at dark per the kids request. My boy and I serviced his big bear 350 4 wheeler and put a new chain on his 230 dirt bike this pm. We gotta keep our minds off the bad

Yeah buddy, I'm still there. But I'm with you, I'm tired of the rain. Got my employer losing money, farmers messed up and has the Tenn River too rough for my liking to fish! I hope it quits so you can get your crops out brother.

Probably some money to be made travelling with something like the Field King Multi-crop harvester running 24/7. Some crops can handle a lot of water just hard to harvesting them like you said 257.

Our bermuda pastures are still as green as they were in June too. That's a first un.

Looks like some dry wather ahead for next week.

I have some good friends who are the biggest farmers in our area, one of them told me bout two weeks ago they hoped it didn't rain again till Thanksgiving . They are waaaaaaay behind, having trouble getting in low ground, short 3 truck drivers, having to dry everything they pick, cotton is acting goofy , a new combine broke 3 times and sitting in the field waiting on the factory man...................

I fully expected them to finish thinning my Fayette County lease this fall. Definitely not happening now as it’s way to wet. All my leases are so wet that I’m considering swapping to a more aggressive tire for my truck. Normally run Toyo RTs.

Food plots should be good from now through the end of season. I just don’t see it drying out completely between now and November even though Oct is our driest month. Crazy year!!

Dad was talking about how strange the weather has been this year. Got a friend that was flooded early and late getting crops in the ground. Said he’ll be lucky to get through with cotton by Thanksgiving. One of the latest seasons in a long time. I only remember it a few times in my life 51 years.

I keep saying “well October is ALWAYS the driest month of the year”, but all the sloughs are still full.

I saw last week, before all this latest rainfall, where James Span said we were over 11” ahead for the year on rainfall.

At least we have water, west is going to be in trouble if they don't get some rain or have a heavy snow pack this year.
