I was supposed to have a dr appointment with my diabetic dr, but was notified if I’m not vaccinated I’ll have to do a zoom phone call. I’m now looking for another diabetes dr. I haven’t seen my dr in the last 3 or 4 visits. I’m paying him to look me over and check me, but all he wants to do is talk on the phone. All these Covid deaths are probably from people dying from other things cause doctors not doing their jobs.

That is total bullsh1t! bamaeyedoc will see me and my kids regardless of vax. My dentist will see me if I have an appointment. Find a new doc.

If your doc is an idiot, you probably need to find a new one anyhow.

I would absolutely find another Doc. A lot of doctors have shown their true colors in respects to their patients who need them. A ton of diseases, cancers and etc are being missed and people are dying as a result of it. Doctors have that blood on their hands, too. IMO

Review him on healthgrades and every other social media platform available. The money dries up and he'll get the point.

Even better, share his name here so we can all review him. We should let everyone know that he's refusing service to one of our brothers that need him.

I just changed diabetes docs because mine just wanted to do tele-doc or Zoom appointments. Don't know what good that does us. Got in at a new doctor here in Huntsville pretty quick, but that doesn't help you.

He’s my Diabetic Dr since I was 16 yrs old. He’s a diabetic also. Dr. Debell is his name at the Medical Towers at DCH. I haven’t seen him since all this started. I’ve seen the woman that works with him, but I’m not too fond of her. I’m looking for another Dr.

I got in the habit of having a short interview with almost all of my physicians before agreeing to allow them to treat me. It irked a couple, but most readily answered my concerns. I actually did dismiss one Physician about 3 years ago who is still very popular among his peers. We just didn’t gee-haw in the interview.

I would probably do the zoom. May save you getting a bad case of Covid from doc! He may be actually looking out for your health. I am sure you could take a picture or explain any color changes in your limbs if you have some doubts or concerns. May need to find another doctor if there is circulation issues for an in person visit. Stay out of doctor's office if anyway possible right now, especially if you have diabetes, even if you are vaxed.

I hate to hear that for you, we can all be creatures of habit. You have been seeing this dr. since you were 16, so you obviously trust him. There are doctors that are protecting themselves and their families from this Chinese virus. If he doesn't want to see anyone physically that is his right, I've heard of it in hospitals where the treating physicians will not go in a room with a Chinese virus patient, they stand at the door and ask questions. Now, you have a choice, you can continue to see this dr., or you can move to another doctor. It is very easy for others to say, "Move on," but it is easier said than done. First, how long will it take you to find another dr. that will see you? Two, once you find one, how long will it take to see this new dr.? Third, you have to build repoire with the doctor, nurse practitioner, nurses, aides, etc. I like telehealth, I don't want to have to sit in a doctor's office at all, yet there are certain situations where one may have to do it. Good luck with your choice, it will be right no matter which way you decide to move.

I used to use Dr.Kamal in Northport many years ago..he was decent.

It may truly be to protect you. Diabetes is a top co-morbidity with Covid. He may be trying to protect you from unnecessary risk.

Sounds like he’s trying to protect himself or his other patients since he’s a diabetic. I really don’t blame him. It’s not like he’s denying you a service. I was friends with one of his kids growing up and the whole family is as good as they come. I doubt he’s doing it out of spite.
