I had a buddy that shot a 20 GA TSS load of mine out of my compact 870 with the shurshot stock. He had never turkey hunted, and his experience with a shotgun was basically skeet/ wing shooting.

He sat down on the ground to fire a "test shot" without a back rest (against my recommendation) and basically let the barrel float freely instead of holding it steady with his left hand. Not only did it roll him on his back, but it just about broke his jaw. He sported a swollen, bruised cheek bone for over a week.

Watching that 20 gauge crack-back and slap him is still one of the funniest memories that I have.

I believe that. I've got a 20ga Stoeger 3020 (semi-auto) that kicks harder with 3" Apex TSS than my 12ga Winchester 1300 (pump) shooting 3" Longbeards....a hot TSS load will rock you

I had a buddy who used to dog hunt with a BPS .10 and I figured he was one of the toughest SOB's around.
