Going to give the crossbow a try AGAIN since I can no longer pull my recurves or compounds. Had some great opportunities at deer 10-30 yards last year and the thrill has returned. What broadheads do y’all recommend and why.

I still shoot fixed blade broad heads (Thunder Head 100 Pro) and have for the last 34 years, if it isn't broke don't fix it lol. I never had any tuning issues and I've killed a lot deer with no problems. But if I go to an expandable it would be the Rage Hypodermic and I believe you can shoot them out of a cross bow as well. Their's a lot of good broad heads out there and I don't think you can go wrong either way with any of them.

I dont shoot crossbows yet, but a good expandable head to try is a vortex 125gn 3in cut..excellent made in usa quality..and they would be perfect for a crossbows high kinetic energy. I have been a big proponent of these heads a long time..and me and my brother have killed alot of animals with them..we started shooting them in the late 90’s..and up till they went out of business under the mar den branding..the new guy who has taken them over has really took the company to the next level..just a suggestion.

Nap killzone shoots just like field tip. Zero adjustment needed on my ravin. Huge holes. Both deer I shot last year ran less than 40 yards. Glad to see this, I’m fixing to order some killzones. This is my first year with a crossbow, and I have the ravin r10. I have shot the killzones out of my compound past few years and had great luck, glad to see there’s no difference with the crossbow ones
