I guess y'all better just stay laid up at the house in the recliner so as to not get hurt since there appears to not be any emergency responders available.

Go out on their site and read any article they post. They are a full blown mouthpiece for the progressive movement, progressivism, and the Democrat party. Every article for 12 months running up to the election was anti-Trump, anti-Republican followed by 3-4 pro-Biden, pro-democrat articles on the same topic or issue. They have been constantly fear mongering since the first COVID outbreak and have been caught dozens of times running with false stories, false headlines, or half truths. Their local viewership, just like CNN has gone in the toilet. The locals pound them daily in the comments section of anything they post on the book of faces. It's actually comical.

U know a shortage of icu beds is flat out poor planning, especially since it's been a year since the virus was released...from what everyone else on here is saying it's been that way forever, I just don't get it

China built a 1000 bed hospital with ventilators and everything within 10 days as soon as this crap started.

Should've kept all those ventilators they dumped in the Miami Dade landfill

Life flight apparently just landed behind Wal Greens in Spanish Fort to transport a Covid patient because no other emergency response was available.

Not sure where my wife got this information, but that is what she just told me.

Life Flight should bill the ambulance company for that job.I'm sure some lawyers are already on it. If the choppers can run so can the ambulances.

An ambulance was driving slow past my house an hour ago, less than 5 miles from Walgreens

Probably related to possible exposures and mandated quarantine of ambulance personnel and not because everybody has covid!!

That's about a mile northeast of my house.

You don't suppose they had it all pre-fabbed and ready to be put together as if they knew something was about to happen do you?

My girlfriend just came in. She’s usually a cardiac ICU nurse at Providence. She’s been picking up extra shifts on the Covid ICUs. She just told me that there are at least 12-15 ambulances waiting to drop off patients at Providence alone. Most were there when she got to work at 6:30am and all are still there. All areas hospitals are on diversion and there’s no place nearby to send anyone else. So those ambulances are now just part of the hospital waiting on someone to go home or die so they can drop their patient off.

You would think if it's that much of a crisis as what's being portrayed our lovely governor could mobilize a national guard medical/ hospital unit(s) and take care of some of load of patients

Naw she's just gonna wait and go shutting things down again. Then folks will pack out the Walmarts, Lowes, and home repo's again.

We’ve been told that was normal everyday occurrences.

I know one local hospital is above last year’s numbers.

Forget the Governor what about the State Legislature- where have they been this whole time? It’s only been going on for over a year. Wait I know- too busy outlawing Yoga in School, debating transgenders playing sports and banning a theory from being taught in school that wasn’t actually taught in school. In a nutshell, not doing a damn thing but pandering to about 10% of the population.

In a nutshell we have zero leadership in Alabama.
