The majority of vacationers in Orange Beach have mostly been from Louisiana and Texas. Now there are coming in from the Midwest, Kentucky and Tennessee. The area has gotten really popular since the BP oil spill when 24 hour news was telling everybody about our secret on the Gulf coast.

The seaside 30A area has always had northerners. My wife’s father bought their lot on 30A when they lived in New Jersey. Most of her family have or had condos and houses up and down 30A. Wife’s parents are buried at Blue Mtn. All of the beach areas have exploded in development. Good friend lived in PC during the 80’s.
Wow how the beach has changed.
I could be wrong but the video appears to be at Grayton Beach. I still recall hanging at
The Red Bar and never having to wait to get in.

Yes that's the location of the Red Bar. It was destroyed completely by fire about 1 1/2 years ago and they have rebuilt it. Haven't been to the new rebuild yet, waiting for tourists to thin out after Labor Day! Might be nice in Sept/Oct if Canadian travel ban still in effect and Northern schools back in session??

There are more Texas, Missouri, Indiana tags down at 30A than ever before. Nothing else in the world is open, so everyone is going to Florida now. We were there a couple weeks ago and it was all Texas and Oklahoma plates
A mans got to know his limitations.

We’d heard it had burned, her sister was a waitress there for a few of the early years. Wife and I sometimes would stay at The Hibiscus I believe it was called. Dang tiny little buildings at Grayton. My Titan was as big as some of those tiny rentals. Seeing all those 30A stickers bring back memories. Some of my favorite restaurants are Cafe Thirty A and Bud and Alley’s

Probably why they have the highest rate of Covid down there. Absolutely the reason!!!!! 150% increase from our highest tourist volume ever in Florida this summer per our local news.
