I refuse to use them, regardless of where I am.
So you would rather wait many times longer in line to prove a point to yourself than quickly self check out and be on with your day? Yup. I have worked as a cashier before, and don't see any reason that companies can't provide the service. They deliberately understaffed the registers to fool people into doing the work for them. The theft/deception rate has to be huge. Academic for me, because I don't go to walmarks.
