No. But, I didn't notice any grime on the clutches, and the old belt had no wear. Need to scuff the faces of the clutch plates, that allows the new belt to seat to the clutches. Search YouTube for Partzilla video on replacing belt, very good video. Was having same problem with my 2015 900xp and this solved my problem.
