How do yall go about it when its hot and humid. My life in the summer goes like this: I cut trees about 1/2 a day. During that time i change shirts 3-4 times, soaked through with sweat. I drink 2-3 poweraids and probably 1/2 gallon of water on a normal day before lunch. Then i go home, eat a little something and go back out to bushhog, spray, pick peaches, work in the garden, something like that, sweating all the time. By the evening i have a pretty good headache. I know its from dehydration. If i sit and drink all night trying to rehydrate, i will get up from bed and pee a dozen times. If i dont rehydrate, ill start out behind the eightball tomorrow and itll be even worse tomorrow evening. Im in a bad cycle where im sweating out more than i can get put back in.

Pedialyte Sport is supposed to be some good stuff to help get you back. I have not found it yet in the stores, but it comes highly recommended. I too cant get enough fluids in me to help me during the day.

I drink Biolyte it works full of electrolytes, It aint no fruity Gatorade you want to be sipping on. Slam it some water and move on.

Water and Gatorade for me, I drink one 16-20 oz Gatorade for every 2-3 bottles of water. Weekends I change shirts also, not really practical at my Monday through Friday job. I also like those super duper drinks like Body Armors , but they're pricey. I'll drink them if my wife brings some in, LOL.

Have to have the electrolytes to help your body absorb the water. More water than gatorade, but still need the slats and such that gatorade provides

Liquid IV (Walmart where crystal lite is) will help. You need sodium. That will help you retain the water. Or pickle juice.

Eat jello and fruit for snacks liquid IV is what a few lineman drink. Drink water early before starting to work. Good tip on drinking water early . Always hear if you wait till you're thirsty , you are late .

Start the day off with water before you even start sweating. Then get a quality electrolyte packet to supplement. 1:3 ratio is good. Take a bath at the end of really bad days...yes, soak....don't know why or how but it is like the body absorbs. Maybe not true and just my notion.
