Any pyrethroid will kill them. Try to use bifenthrin if you can at 1 gallon to 20 acres

Son was in the pasture today and saw armyworms. They were really tearing it up. Mixed up three sprayings with Bifen and looks like they are on the defensive now.
Better check your hayfields and pastures because they can sure lay waste to a tract very quick. I was just thinking about this today. I saw a little tan moth in my yard before I left town on Wednesday. I bet we got them

We checked the affected area behind the barn lots and the Bifen we sprayed did a number on them. We could not find any live ones, only the dead ones. Looks like we will be doing alot of pasture checking the next few weeks.

Guys we’re seeing failures already in pyrethroids. This is a mixed population of falls plus true. We’re finding less than 50% control this morning. We’re having to go back with a different chemistry now. Just a heads up

We are covered up in N AL. Called in air strike all day today while sitting at the beach. Time to nuke em The attack is on here. Cropduster is buzzing the house as I type this. I sure hope the farmers can catch a break. I still have my fingers crossed that they make a record harvest year.
