One guarantee. It would give Alabama two more wins.

Dont know about that but it should make the RPIs stronger for the conference since they are usually top 20 or better teams.

Alabama and Auburn would move to the east.

There would be no more East/West. There would be 4 four-team "pods". Each team would play the other three teams from their own pod, then two of the teams from the other pods or a rotating basis. Each team would play every team from the conference at least every two years, and at home at least every four years. Conference would move to a 9 game schedule.

Just reported on jox that its a done deal. uTex and ou are leaving the big? conference. Was first reported that it'd be 2025 before joining the sec...but they added this would be immediate.

Now the Big 12 will be almost as bad as the ACC.

In a couple years these 2 will be problems for the whole SEC. With the ability to funnel money to these players now, its gonna be tough to out spend those 2 and Miami and USC will be back as well.

Ive heard rumors of Vandy may be looking to punch out of the SEC. Maybe ACC bound with West Virginia??? This would put a kink in the pods.

Vandy needs to join the Ivy league where they can compete for recruits.

Talk about adding great meat to the grinder, adding these two teams would be throwing more onto the fire. Which one gets to go the the SEC East? I guess it would have to be OK. Forget the POD stuff, makes for some interesting shop talk by putting OK and Missouri in the East and having Auburn, TX A&M and Tx in the West. TX A&M gets to play TX every year. FL and GA get a good league game on the schedule to go along with Vandy and Kentucky. Then, the ACC gets Ohio State and Michigan added to go along with Clemson.
