Yep. I have a total of 4 now. I picked up 2 a few weeks ago during prime days on Amazon.

I have 4 as well, two GB40's and two GB70's. I have jumped my JD 410 backhoe off a dozen times in one day with the GB70.

One more vote for welding cable. In another lifetime, I worked for a welding supply company. I can’t tell you the number of jumper cable sets I made up.

Y’all saying this little thing can jump? I’ve never been able to trust them.

NOCO Boost HD GB70 2000 Amp 12-Volt UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter Box, Car Battery Booster Pack, Portable Power Bank Charger, and Jumper Cables For Up To 8-Liter Gasoline and 6-Liter Diesel Engines https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016UG6PW...1C6EJ5WA1ZFGGGH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

It’ll work. No sense in not carrying it with jumper cables also. It’s often tough to get two vehicles close enough to jump, like a dead tractor in a barn. This thing is great for that.

I do still carry cables in my vehicles also.

Yeah good thing about them is they can be used several times, old ones i had (that eventually broke) were only good for one jump

Just don"t throw the booster in the trunk and forget about it for a couple years. It will be dead as hell. Its nothing really but a battery and will slowly discharge like a battery. best to keep jumper cables to and remember to charge that booster every 6 months or so.

Not to derail but say your truck uses 700 CCA but the store only has 775 CCA. Better for jumping or not?( Yes I'm a mechanically disinclined goober be nice.)

That huge draw will only be for what ever time the starter is engaged. A quick jump you will never know the difference. Now if you tried to start it and had it engaged for like 30 seconds it would get really hot and melt somewhere.

This x 100. I got the 1000 amp model and no need for cables ever!
