If its on you hunting dirt bush hog it to the ground and watch eat the new sprouts like crazy. Great protein levels and deer go nuts over the tender shoots. I don't want to shoot a deer bad enough to encourage that stuff; deer can eat something else. But you are right; the deer do like it, though they must not like it as much as soybeans or they would keep it eaten down. I've never seen even a small patch that they could keep eaten down. Most of the place where I have it are too steep to bush hog; if I could I would have already eliminated it.
