I didn’t get drawn 2 years ago. I called them about my license $$, they refunded it as well as the $415 for lottery application.

That's encouraging to know I guess I'll keep calling until someone answers.

You can get your money back. But just a bit of advice you don't have to buy the license up front to get drawn. I know that's what the website tells you when you sign up but trust me...ive been drawn for kansas 3 different times and never bought my license until afterwards. It's a gimic to try to get your $100. Keep calling the department of wildlife they will send your money back, my brother got his back.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

This is correct. You do not have to buy a license to apply for a NR tag.

I had to cancel my KS trip last year due to getting Covid 10 days before trip. The peolpe I spoke with at KDWPT were excellent and refunded my entire cost ( license/tag) within a week of speaking to them. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Same here, did not draw two years ago and I got a refund for the license and tag minus the preference point cost. I think I had to write void across my license and mail it to their office, then I was refunded.

Just to update this I did get reimbursed for the license after mailing it back. Thanks for all of the advice.
