Bud i have the same bushhog in a 10ft. It cuts great. When the blades are sharp, it looks like you cut it with a lawnmower. I bushhog a peach orchard with it, along with everything else. Its a great bushhog in my opinion. Mine dont pile grass up or anything like that, it pretty much distributes it evenly. Never really gave that much thought. Ive used it throwing and mowing a couple times now. Maybe different blades would help it
