I laid off four rows in the garden and told Joseph they were his to plant watermelons. Told him it was time he learned how to plow the old 140. He has done remarkably well. I remember plowing up about a half a row of peas on my first lesson when i was his age. That was the only time daddy ever let me try it. Joseph has done much better. I reckon all those video games has helped his fine motor skills. I got home from work about an hour ago and he was in yhe garden, laying his watermelons by. He seems to like the old 140 pretty good. I guess its in his blood. There was nothing daddy liked better than running a farmall tractor. I guess one more generation of Walkers wont starve to death.

That's awesome. I got home yesterday from summer school, to see mine on the tractor plowing his peas and then he tilled beside one of his melon and okra patches. Good to see a few young ones learning to work.

I learned how to drive and run a tractor on a Farmall super a. I raked many miles of wind rows with that thing. We weren't fancy and to use a handle to crank it
