Wife and I are making a trip down to Tallassee, Alabama on Friday to purchase some new Buelingo heifers.
Seeing as there is no really good place to stay Friday night in Tallassee, I booked us a room 21 miles east, in Auburn, at the Hampton Inn.
We will be spending the night there on Friday.
Looking for recommendations on a good place for dinner for the two of us on Friday evening.
We both like a good steak joint or maybe even seafood.
Not looking for a chain restaurant but a great local place.
Where ya gonna send us?

We ate at Big Mikes a couple weeks ago, it was ok but not worthy for the price.

If you are traveling on 14 from Tallassee to Auburn, there is a little restaurant called Elmer’s in Notasulga AL. The restaurant has a buffet, a regular menu, and a steak menu. Good steak for the price. I think everyone has covered all the places in Auburn. One other option would be “The Waverly Local” in Waverly AL. A few miles away, make a reservation. Let us know what you decide. I'll give a thumbs up to Elmer's steak
