I asked earlier this year after some WMAs I hunt were changed to a 1PM closure this spring. I was told they hoped to alleviate some hunting pressure.
But then Alabama DNR sends me an e-mail today talking about how The Hunting Public is hunting WMAs in Alabama, basically advertising for more pressure????
I thought that email reinforced my idea that the primary purpose for this dcnr is to make money. They are no different from a corporation; it's just that the product they sell is our fish and game. Whatever will make the most money to grow the Empire is what they will do.
