The Low Saturday Morning is in the low to mid 40’s. Will they gobble?

If at first you dont succeed, You may not want to try parachuting

2 Sundays ago it was 27 degrees in Jackson County and I heard a significant number of gobbles

I have yet to hear one gobble and it’s been perfect. I know where several good birds are with hens on a daily basis.
Sure don’t want to deer hunt em..

No expert. But in my experience after a stormy day or 2 they will be ready to hammer.

Had them hammer in high 20s w ice and killed them in that weather

40s is perfect - no bugs - that not cold for turkey gobbling - 40 to mid 50s my fav time to go

With all this wind and tornadoes they are probably sitting in the next county wondering where the hell they are at

Watching this. I’m definitely still learning so I’m interested in what the experienced ones say. Last Saturday there was a half dozen gobbling but I’m not sure what they’re gonna do Saturday morning.

If they don't, it won't be because of the 40 degree temp.

I prefer high 20s to low 40s over anything warmer. I hear way more birds on the cooler mornings

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

They can gobble, but will they gobble? Have heard them tearing it up in January, temps in the 20s, while shooting wood ducks. Every time we’d shoot, they’d gobble. Have also had them gobble their heads off opening weekend with temps right around freezing.

However, similar to others above, this week I’ve listened twice, nothing doing. Ya don’t know till ya go.
