AU_trout_bum OP 8 point Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 1,968 Opelika, AL	It's hard to turn down a float invite, especially when chunky Alabama bass are feeding heavy on shad. Plan was to throw heavy clousers and see what happens. Our plan worked. Hard to pass up a section with flow and a little depth. Pulled out one of my best Tallapoosa bass. Didn't photograph them all, as the catching was too good. We caught maybe 9 or 10 like this: Got off the water just as the sun went to bed. Crazy how fast the temps drop on the water like that. It sure beat the heck out of staring at a computer screen.
